Sheriff William L. Federspiel said his department is working to get the luxury ride acquired through a recent drug forfeiture.
Earlier this year, the sheriff converted the Mustang into a police car with “Taken From a Local Drug Dealer” written on the side doors.
Federspiel said the cars are an educational tool for everyone not to use drugs and a message to drug dealers to stop selling.
The Cadillac would be assigned to Undersheriff Robert Karl, as a replacement for a 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe with high mileage.
